Dear Member,This year’s Advancing the Art and Science of Psychotherapy Conference was a great success!

This year’s Advancing the Art and Science of Psychotherapy Conference was a great success! Our opening keynote speaker, Dr. Gabor Maté, drew attendees from around the world and energized the crowd. Overall, nearly 1,000 attendees attended workshops held by expert speakers, learned about resources in the Exhibit Hall and bookstore, and connected and networked with fellow marriage and family therapists. Early morning yoga classes were a unique opportunity for self-care, and we celebrated our creative and artistic members with the Silent Art Auction. SoulPaws brought therapeutic animals to the conference, including a miniature horse. The PAC luncheon featured Jessica Jackson Sloan, co-founder of the #Cut50 initiative. And for the first time, we offered a discounted MFT Associate Day with a Job Fair to support pre-licensees. I was incredibly excited to meet so many wonderful and friendly CAMFT members. Thank you to our Orange County Chapter for their warm welcome to attendees!

Thank you also to our Grand Sponsors: CPH & Associates, GEICO, Northcentral University, and SimplePractice, and our Bronze Sponsors: Give an Hour California and Paradigm Malibu.
