On February 2-3, chapter leaders from 21 chapters across California met in Los Angeles for the annual Chapter Leadership Conference.
The conference was focused on networking, building relationships, brainstorming, and information exchange. Topics included board orientation and succession planning, volunteer and leader retention and engagement, alignment across chapters, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The Outstanding Chapter Leader and Chapter Excellence awards recipients were also celebrated.
Over 80% of attendees rated the relevancy of and satisfaction with the conference at a 5 out of 5. It was the first in-person conference since 2020 and attendance increased by 12% compared to the last in-person conference. Attendees commented on the contagious energy, and how much easier it was to make new connections, plan potential collaborations, and share ideas. We loved seeing many of you there!
