On March 4th in Sacramento, CAMFT presented our “State Legislator of the Year Award” to Sen. Caroline Menjivar, a champion for mental health rights. Sen. Menjivar authored SB 372 (Deadnaming), which went into effect Jan 1,2024. This bill, co-sponsored by CAMFT, increases protections for transgender and non-binary clinicians.
