Blending Virtual Insight with In-Person Connections: CAMFT Law and Ethics Training at Redding Regional Chapter

Forty-five Redding Regional chapter members met in person on Friday, Oct 27 at the beautiful McConnell Foundation for the CAMFT Law and Ethics training. Although this chapter meets monthly in person, this event was unique because it was presented virtually by CAMFT, so the attendees were viewing the presentation on screen as a "watch party," while having the opportunity to engage with each other in-person. Lunch was catered by Charlew's Taphouse with pasta, salad, garlic bread, and cookies where everyone could enjoy a beautiful meal and network during this time.  The Law and Ethics topics discussed were "No-Stress Records Requests" by Bradley Muldrow, Esq., "Working With Clients Who Are Involved In The Legal System" by Michael Griffin, Esq., LSCW, and "Legal and Ethical Guidance for Therapists to Rely on When a Client Asks for a Letter" by Alain Montgomery, Esq.
