The need for mental health care services today is incredibly high. Americans deserve access to qualified mental health providers such as MFTs. Reducing barriers to licensure portability and supporting MFTs in their ability to work is a pivotal way to maximize support and care.
That is why CAMFT is a partner organization participating in the Access MFTs effort. The Access MFTs plan utilizes a model of licensure portability that allows for flexibility to address unique challenges and environments in each state. With this strategy, the goal is rapid advancement for the MFT profession, addressing areas of high need and the business focuses of our field as a priority.
