The Calendar Year 2024 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule has been released. This is the rule that describes MFTs’ involvement in the Medicare system. We’re reviewing the final rule now and will provide more information in the Medicare Corner shortly.
Practitioners who want to enroll as Medicare Fee-For-Service providers can complete the application process. To find out what steps to take and obtain application tips and resources, visit our Medicare Corner to access CAMFT’s Medicare Provider Enrollment Guide.
If you’re prepared to apply, you may access CMS’s online application platform (known as PECOS) by clicking here. If you want to apply using the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ paper application forms, you may do so here.
If you have questions about enrollment, you can contact your Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC). Your MAC will depend on where you are physically located when providing services. If you’ll be in California, your MAC will be Noridian Health Solutions, LLC and you can call them at 1-855-609-9960.
