Earn Continuing Education Credits: We will provide webinar training to ensure members are confident when meeting with the attending legislators and their staff. We will review the legislative process, how to effectively communicate with lawmakers, and day of logistics. The webinar will take place on December 12, 2024, at 12:00PM. The webinar is not mandatory but is encouraged. Please follow this link for registration.
Meeting with Legislators: The goal is to meet with at least one of your elected officials. Please note that sometimes last-minute schedule changes by the legislator’s offices can result in seeing regional leaders in lieu of your specific elected officials.
General Logistics: The event will take place in Sacramento, CA at the Capital. The dress code is business/business casual. Comfortable shoes are always recommended as there will be a decent amount of walking.
Please Note: There will be no space to store luggage during Advocacy Day. If you are checking out of your hotel on the day of the event, we recommend leaving your luggage with the hotel’s bag check service before heading over to our meetings. Thank you for your understanding.
