Clinician burnout is a widely discussed topic, but how does it impact client outcomes, how therapists interact with their clients, and the delivery of mental health? This workshop looks at the various ways that treatment systems affect therapist performance, which can negatively impact clients, agencies, and the field in general. Taking a critical look at the ways that individual therapists are expected to shoulder the responsibilities of system contributions allows for us to look at being able to better remain in the field, prevent the negative impacts of burnout on clients, and helps to create sustainable, consistent practices that can be realistically implemented into therapist routines can help therapists show up for clients even better than before.
