Policy on Considering Members for Non-Officer Vacancies on the Board

In order to give all eligible members an opportunity to be considered by the Board of Directors to fill a vacant position on the Board, other than that of an Officer, the Board shall call for nominations from members immediately upon learning of an upcoming vacancy. This ensures transparency and provides the Board with an opportunity to choose from all interested members. Note: Pursuant to the CAMFT bylaws, any vacancy on the Executive Committee shall be filled by a member of the Board of Directors.

In the event a vacancy arises without adequate time to formally call for nominations, the Board will make every effort to solicit multiple nominees for the Board to consider at its next regular meeting.
