Mental health care workers (over 2,000) continue their strike against Kaiser to demand increased staffing and improved access to care for patients. The excessive wait times for patients, who often wait months for therapy appointments, is in direct violation of California access to care requirements. CAMFT has moved its advocacy on this issue from Kaiser and the Department of Managed Health Care to Governor Newsom.
Providers who have experienced delays or care access on behalf of their patients, can click here to reach out directly to Kaiser’s state regulator.
