Hello, my name is Nancy Brison-Moll. I was recently nominated to fill a vacant Board Member at Large Position and eagerly applied to the position so that I can remain active on the Board. I find the work we do on the Board and at CAMFT to be very valuable and meaningful. Thus far, I have been able to participate in several board meetings, including helping to create the next Strategic Plan for CAMFT, a very exciting process.
I bring a great deal of clinical experience, Board experience, and CAMFT experience. I have been a CAMFT member since 1999 and served on the CAMFT Ethics Committee for 8 years helping to revise the Code of Ethics. I have worked in multiple settings as a licensed marriage and family therapist including community-based organizations, county mental health services, and addiction treatment. I have supervised many associates and currently provide supervision through my private practice.
The future of our industry is full of exciting and challenging new directions. Now that we can be Medicare providers, we need to further this effort by helping our opted-in members gain knowledge and access to this new source. The progression of artificial intelligence is creating new opportunities as well as challenges and I would like to be an integral part of educating our members on its ethical use.
As a Board Member at Large, I will uphold the values of CAMFT and look out for the advancement of marriage and family therapists in the landscape of our industry through promoting our unique qualifications, training, and ability to provide a great array of services to a great number of people.
I look forward to serving you!
