Description: The goal of these virtual meet-ups is for chapter leaders to get together and share what works well for their chapter and to ask for/share advice and resources. Depending on the needs of the attendees, there will be an opportunity to meet in smaller breakout rooms. The Chapter Relations Manager and selected CAMFT staff members will be available to answer questions

  • Venue: The Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Airport, 6101 W. Century Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045
  • Registration: FREE to 2024 chapter board members & committee chairs, and 2023-2024 CAMFT Board of Directors
  • Hotel rooms: One FREE room night on Friday, Feb 2, 2024 for the President/another representative from each chapter. Stay tuned for reservations regarding additional rooms

Three Tools You Need to Host a Successful Hybrid Event in 2023

 2023 Presentations: It is not too late to sign up for the 2023 CE presentations CAMFT is offering to chapters at no cost

  • Law & Ethics:(L&E) - 6 CEs
    • In-person: The chapter Advisory Council raffled off two (2) in-person L&E presentations: 
      • Congratulations to our winners - Orange County and Santa Cruz County!
      • CAMFT is offering 2 more in-person events this year.  The presentations will be offered to the chapters who indicated in the survey last year that they prefer in-person L&Es
      • We will keep you all updated as we are able to offer more in-person presentations, especially as we start planning for 2024
         
    • Virtual: Chapters are eligible to sign up for two 3-hour, or one 6-hour webinar this year 
      • ​The 3-hour webinars are scheduled for June 16 (morning),  June 16 (afternoon), and July 20 (morning) and  the 6-hour webinar is scheduled for Oct 27 (all day) 
      • L&E sign up here
         
  • Road to Licensure (RTL) - 2 CEs
    • Virtual: Chapters are eligible to sign up for multiple RTL webinars this year
  • The State of the Profession (SOP) - (1 CE)
    • In-Person: CAMFT will be offering in-person presentations throughout the year, based upon availability
      • The session (1 CE) will be 90 minutes

    • Virtual: Chapters are eligible to sign up for one 90-minute SOP webinar per year

Tip: Pre-Licensees needing to retake L&E Exam

  • Associates who do not pass the Law and Ethics Exam prior to their registration's expiration date must complete 12 hours in California Law and Ethics before they are allowed to retake the Law and Ethics Exam during the next renewal period. CAMFT offers a special bundle for Pre-Licensees for 12 hours of coursework presented by CAMFT Staff Attorneys that will help them meet this requirement

  • The last webinar of the year is on September 22
  • CAMFT provides the speaker and all the information needed to comply with CE requirements
  • Chapters manage registrations, marketing, and CE certificates                
  • Chapters  have the option to charge for these presentations, or to offer it to their members for free. Chapters keep any fees collected
