SHATTERED: HEALING THE WOUNDS OF SEXUAL BETRAYAL Clients who have been sexually betrayed by their partners are often experiencing deep shame and trauma symptomology. Therapists need to be careful to ensure that they do not unwittingly cause more harm and more trauma when working with issues of infidelity.
