Drawing on landmark social psychology research, from Milgram's obedience studies to Zimbardo's Stanford Prison Experiment, and her own extensive clinical and forensic experience, Dr. Shannon Curry explores how situational forces, broken systems, and cycles of trauma create the conditions for deviance and violence. Her work spans military service members with combat-related PTSD, civilians who have survived war, survivors of domestic violence, convicted perpetrators of violence, and defendants facing the death penalty.
Such a well-organized conference! Great choices for learning and CEs, maximum use of the two days with time for vendors in between. I loved being in community and hearing about all CAMFT's accomplishments from the business meeting.
I just had a fantastic time. It was my first conference, and I came by myself, and I was so impressed with every single one of the seminars. I felt so comfortable, everyone was so friendly and welcoming that I didn’t even hesitate for a second being by myself.
I loved being back in person for the conference!! I enjoyed the expo hall and the coffee, snacks provided were a nice touch! All the seminars and the keynotes as well as the membership meeting were GREAT! I especially enjoyed the keynote speakers!
