As a valued CAMFT member, you can have a direct impact in the governance and future of CAMFT. Becoming a volunteer is the best way to get your opinions heard, learn more about CAMFT’s broader interests, connect with fellow CAMFT members, develop your leadership skills, and become an integral part of the CAMFT community. No matter what your talent, interest, or availability, there's an opportunity that is right for you!

One great way to get involved is to apply to join a CAMFT committee! Check out the committees below, and then check out the instructions at the bottom of the page to apply. Deadline for Committee applications is April 15, 2025.

Important Notes:

  • The Executive Committee composition is dictated by the Bylaws and, thus, non-officers may not be considered.
  • Those interested in applying for the Nominating Committee must be available for the two nominating committee meetings already scheduled for 11/7/2025 in Lafayette, CA and 11/14/2025 in Pasadena, CA.

OK I'M IN! How do I apply for a committee?

To apply for a CAMFT Committee submit a resume and a letter of interest that tells why you would be a great committee member to Shoshoni Thoulouis at sthoulouis@camft.org by April 15, 2025. Once we receive your resume and letter of interest, you will be directed to complete a short questionnaire.

COMMITTEE MEMBER CONSENT FORMS 

Committee members are required to sign:  Committee Member Participation Agreement, Conflict of Interest Policy, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Board and Committee Code of Conduct, DEI and Anti-Harassment Attestation, and Consent to Electronic Transmission. Additional forms and/or revisions to these forms will be posted as available.
