Jill Ippolito

Jill Ippolito is a leading Trauma-Informed Yoga Educator, Keynote Speaker, and Executive Mindset Coach. She is the Founder and CEO of Yoga For Healing Trauma and the nonprofit organization UpRising Yoga. Jill is sought out for her extraordinary approach to healing trauma with Yoga Life Skills with a unique blend of humor and lived experience.

As the Executive Director of UpRising Yoga, Jill spearheads initiatives to bring yoga life skills to "system-involved youth," probation officers, mental health professionals, and marginalized individuals. Under her leadership, UpRising Yoga has established over 40 consistent yoga classes a month across Southern California and 18 drop-in centers for unhoused youth. Jill is a vocal advocate for reforming the juvenile justice system in California, working passionately to shift probation culture from punitive to restorative.

Jill's impact extends beyond direct teaching. She has developed specialized yoga curriculums and has educated hundreds of yoga instructors, first responders, childcare providers, mental health professionals, and educators through her Trauma Informed Yoga Trainings. These trainings have become integral to the mandatory curriculum for many probation officers working with incarcerated youth.

Additionally Jill founded Yoga For Healing Trauma, offering yoga curriculums, coaching, and consultations worldwide, including serving as a consultant to Sesame Street for Monster Yoga (with Elmo and his friends).
