DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE ACCESS AND INFORMATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

Exciting scholarship opportunities are being offered by the Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) for applicants preparing to become a behavioral health professional.

There are two scholarship programs bulleted below:

  • Behavioral Health Scholarships Program – An informational webinar on eligibility and how to apply will be held on April 16, 2024 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am. Register for the webinar here.
  • Golden State Social Opportunities Program – An informational webinar on eligibility and how to apply will be held on April 16, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. Register for the webinar here. Priority is given to those who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness and Community-Based Organization employees.

The upcoming application cycle for both programs will open April 9, 2024 and close on May 24, 2024. To help determine if you are eligible for a program, please use the HCAI Funding Eligibility Tool.
