Dear Members,

First, I want to offer my heartfelt congratulations to our newly elected Board Members! I’m excited to announce the winners:

I want to give a special thanks to everyone who ran for a position, to the nominating committee for their dedication, and to all of our amazing members who engaged in the election process. Your involvement helps shape the very future of CAMFT! I also want to note that many of you opted for an electronic ballot this time around, and we were glad to hear so much positive feedback about its ease of use. We thank you for supporting a greener choice. 

As we move forward with our strategic priorities, we will be instituting a new way to raise funds for our Political Action Committee (PAC). One of our most important jobs is advocating for the business interests of our members. This summer, we will be instituting an automatic optional $4.00 PAC contribution charge with your membership renewal to help fund our state PAC. Members have the option of opting out of this contribution, or giving more. Please click here for more information on this new policy. 

I am also excited to share that our Bylaws Committee continues its review of CAMFT’s bylaws to bring them up to date. We want to hear from you, our members, to help guide the committee in their process. Please take this quick survey to share your thoughts on pre-licensee voting rights, agency memberships, board makeup and more.   

CAMFT’s Annual Conference is coming up on May 3^rd and 4^th in Los Angeles, and I hope to see you all there! With the support of our Grand Sponsors CPH Insurance, SimplePractice, SoulTenders, and OwlPractice, we are able to bring you an  incredible lineup of speakers this year, covering timely topics like psychedelic-assisted therapy, imposter syndrome, complex trauma, AI, and so much more.
