BBS INCREASES FEES

The Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) introduced a bill this year to increase all licensing related fees for LMFTs, LPCCs and LCSWs. This fee increase has been moved into the state budget and will likely move forward as currently written. The BBS is pursuing a fee increase because a recent audit of the Board’s licensing fees found that they are no longer sufficient to recover operating costs. Currently, the fee increases are slated as follows:
