For All Positions

Celebrating our Chapters: No more Chapter Awards. Welcome to a Celebration of ALL Chapters!

  • Thank you to all of you who completed the survey
  • An overwhelming majority voted for a “celebration of all Chapters” at the 2025 Chapter Leadership Conference rather than an award ceremony celebrating only the winners of specific categories
  • How will it work? Chapters will have the opportunity to BRIEFLY answer a few short questions, or write a few sentences about the topics offered
  • Time commitment? Minimal – a few minutes at the most per category. The submission format will be so that multiple board members per chapter may submit. Less time commitment per board member!
  • Stay tuned for more information
  • Deadline to submit is October 31, 2024
  • There will be no changes to the Outstanding Chapter Leader Awards. To nominate your Outstanding Chapter Leader, click here

Notification: CAMFT Award Nominations Now Open!

Tip: The Ins and Outs of Taking Effective Board Meeting Minutes

Tip: Train your successor

  • It is never too early to start looking for your replacement
  • Ensure that your financial policies and procedures are up-to-date and included in your onboarding manual
  • Include a checklist/to do list/calendar in the manual, so that your successor as well as the current board  members are aware of deadlines

Ask: Does your Chapter have an onboarding manual/or something similar?

  • Please share with us your onboarding manual, or any information you usually share with your new Treasurers/Bookkeepers
  • Forward to mchampion@camft.org
  • We will remove all identifying and confidential information and post  to our Playbook as template for those needing to create a manual from scratch

Marketing

Tip: Is Your Chapter/Association Prioritizing Digital Marketing Enough?

  • 5 Steps to Overcoming Digital Marketing Challenges for Chapters/Associations
  1. Strategic budget allocation: This involves allocating budgets strategically across key milestones, ensuring that each dollar spent contributes to reaching new members and driving non-dues revenues.
  2. Audience understanding and engagement: Chapters/Associations should refine their audience segmentation and targeting, utilizing advanced data analytics to enhance engagement. This tailored approach ensures that marketing messages resonate with the intended audience, thereby increasing the likelihood of attracting the right audience.
  3. Optimized channel selection and multichannel marketing: Chapters/Associations should select channels based on where their target audience is most active, and social media marketing to maximize reach and engagement.
  4. Comprehensive digital marketing strategy: Ultimately, developing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with chapter goals is key to long-term growth.
